flossing with toothpaste?

Potentially stupid question which I forgot again to ask at previous
regular checkup: is flossing together with a small amount of
toothpaste a bad thing to do?

Not sure if this is of any real benefit e.g. in getting the fluoride
in below, plus getting out the removed plaque better with those
detergents. Still, it results in easier flossing and an even cleaner
feeling. Esp. with the IMO tastiest toothpaste so far, Parodontax,
which has copious amounts of salts.

But anyway, perhaps flossing together with toothpaste is too
abrasive below the gum line in the long run? Or something else
against it?

Just curious.
Many thanks!

Not a bad thing.  Certainly not necessary.  Sounds messy though!

Okay - thanks!

Well that toothpaste doesn't foam(sp?) up nearly as much as the
"normal" toothpastes. Awful mess otherwise, granted... :)
