Anatomically, what are various names or notational names for different
parts of the surfaces of a tooth?... for example what are various
names used for
a. the surfaces of a molar?...
b. the top of the tooth?...
c. the different pointy ridges of the tooth?...
d. the sides of the tooth?...
e. Where around the web are there diagrams?...

    Here's a start, Don.  The "pointy" areas are referred to as cusps, and
designated by location (ie: mesiobuccal, distolingual).

Occlusal, Mesial, Distal, Lingual/Palatal, Buccal/Facial ...[5 surfaces/tooth]

Occlusal

There are specific names for all ridges and grooves
of the individual teeth.
