good site or a nice book about this.

    Any good general textbook on restorative dentistry should give you a
pretty good idea.  Many are available used at amazon.

Ingle & Beveridge is still a good text.

Think there's a more recent edition than
our mezozoic slate tablets.

My copy is written on a papyrus scroll.
