Hello,
I was just wondering, what is the accepted wear time for 22% carbamide
bleaching solution? Thing is, I've read that up to ~15 carbamide is ok
for wearing overnight but 22% is 1 hr only. Obviously it is a higher
concentration but is that purely to reduce sensitivity? I've read that
over 50% of the active hydrogen peroxide is still present after 1hr
and I'd like to get the best value out of the bleaching paste.
What I'm trying to say is, is it ok to wear a little longer say 2hrs,
without it adversely affecting the enamel? I can put up with a little
sensitivity.
cheers

A couple of hours should be fine.
If you experience any sensitivity or burning sensation take
the trays out and rinse with water. Better yet brush your teeth
and floss them. (which you should do *before* bleaching anyway)

In Canada, carbamine peroxide 10% and above are by presecription only. This
means someone has to explain it all to you when you receive it.
Where did you get this stuff? Was it bought in a drug store/pharmacy?
department store? ebay? What country?
