You need to contact the dental school, not an internat web site. Most
of the dentists here have graduated from dental school for a while,
and they may not remember what they have done 10-20 years ago.
A good applicant to dental school not only need good grades and a
strong DAT score. Many time you need to show a strong desire to be a
dentist. So I bet they will love to talk to you....I visit my school
many times before and during my application, I believed this has help
me a great deal on my application in 1994.
Good luck

Right......
Most of us are lucky to remember last week. We are getting pretty
old.
The truth is that school policies and personnel change. What worked
for me in Kansas City 30 years ago, might not work for someone in
Chicago today.

Very true, but since that course is a requirement for application, the
school will need to see the transcript. Dental schools are more concerned
with the GPA of the last 3-4 years, than what a student earned prior to
that.
Average GPA of the new freshman class at my alma mater is 3.64.

My second semester of my freshman year was a 0.9!
Dropped out a year or so.
Since I graduated with a 3.55, the emphasis on the last 2-3 years
was true in the old days. (raising grades that low isn't easy)

My first term (freshman year) was about 2.0 average. Dropped out of college
for 4 years to go through an apprenticeship. Returned to college and
brought the GPA up to 3.88. Dental school definitely looks at the most
recent grades first.
