My child, 6 yrs, had a bad tooth infection that caused swollen face.
Our dentist did a root canal and crown. Now it seems fine. Will the
infection likely cause any damage to the permanent tooth that are
developing below, such as tooth defect or decay?

Thank you.

There is a chance of that happening, but there is no way of telling
right now. Since the milk tooth was promptly dealt with, complications
are less likely to arise.

We had the infection healed after 2 weeks it happened, is it still in
time? I am really worry about the tooth. As I read some web page,
saying baby tooth infection can effect the development of permanent
tooth bud.

For the good of the child stop obsessing over things you cannot control or
change.  If it has effected the developing tooth, you cannot change that
now.  If it did not effect the new tooth (much more likely), no big deal.
Why not forget about it and wait a few years for the new tooth to come up
and see what's there ? ?

Thanks. Maybe I think too much. I will keep my fingers crossed.
