I'm wondering if the L-Ornithine powder I took briefly (for a few weeks to
maybe a couple of months) as a weightlifting supplement in the 80s could
have damaged my tooth enamel, which started to wear away back then.  The
powder did burn the insides of my mouth but my understanding is that it is a
BASE not acidic.  Could this have caused my enamel to wear away?

Thanks,

J.

More likely the weight lifting itself (and other clenching) damaged your
teeth.

Sugared soft drinks, chewing tobacco, acid reflux and bulemia, also have
very negative effects.

Often there are multiple factors.
