I use them for anterior teeth and for pediatric posterior teeth. I have
never had a bonding failure from it yet. Used them for about ten years.
For adult posterior teeth, I prefer the extra step of etching and
rinsing--so as to make sure the prep is really cleaned.

So as long as there is a clean dry field, no problemo eh ?
Any post-op sensitivity ?
Have been using the Clear Fill Self Etch with good results.
No post-op sensitivity to speak of.
One of the wise men in SMD told me about this material. <vbseg>

Never had a complaint of sensitivity after using it.
The issue with the Prompt-L-Pop is that your DA needs to be paying attention
to how she moves the reagents from one reservoir to the other for mixing.
If she is a tad lazy that day, you only get one chemical on your brush. If
that happens, the liquid will be clear and you know to re-mix. It has an
amber color when mixed.

The only photo I remember seeing of you (wearing the mask and Designs
for Vision telescopes) I seem to remember you being a redhead.

Cannot refer to you as 'old' without also referring to myself.

I think my daughter's orthodontist uses something like this for bonding
brackets--I guess the rationale is that etchant doesn't affect bond
strenghts? I must say that debonded brackets occur frequently in her mouth.

Prompt-L-Pop and other self-etching BA do bond as well to "un-cut" enamel.
You need to roughen fresh enamel with a VF diamond.

Prompt-L-Pop and other self-etching BA do NOT bond as well to "un-cut"
enamel.

one of the best is SIMPLICITY
the info is on www.apexdentalmaterials.com
Its clear that 4 generation bonding systems have the biggest strange of
adhesion. Presently Surpass has even bigger than Optibond FL
The use of 5/6 generation is less hipersensitivity and time. Of course
among 4th generation are very unique bonding systems with antibacterial
acting etc

I checked many of them
5 years ago I used even prompt L-pop, next Clearfill Se Bond presently
Simplicity
I am sure if Its going of quality Its better to use 4th generation bonding
systems or special like Simplicity or Clearfill
The single bottles have averagly 50% less adhesion . I cant tell witch one
is the best among 6th generation becouse I avoid to use It :))
Its better to check CRA reports
