My lower wire popped out of my braces. Does anyone have advice on how
I can put it back in? I am willing to try to use tweezers but my mom
thinks that they might scratch my tooth. It is the furthest back (no
wisdom teeth). I have tried to find something on the web that says
what you can scratch your teeth with but I have had no success.

You're more likely to puncture your gum. You're best off getting back
to your orthodontist if at all possible. Are there ligatures holding
the archwire to brackets on the front teeth?
Unless you can really visualize the tube into which the archwire fits,
I wouldn't even try before talking to your orthodontist--maybe not even
then.

Call your orthodontist and make an appointment.

Or just show up in the waiting room with a distressed look on
your face and see how fast they usher you in.

In NY, that would be considered an ortho emergency and most
orthodontists would promptly see the patient.
