upper miniimplants cases

Hi

I am looking for any observations regarding miniimplants in upper side
cases.
What is your opinion of it. I am just hesitating becouse of different bone
structur.

I have not tried any at all.  I would be interested in your
experiences with the minis used on the mandibular arch.

    We had a lecture a couple of years ago from a prosthodontist at our
study club who did some minis to retain a provisional upper fixed
prosthesis.  When it was time to do the standard fixtures, the minis
looked so good he kept them and worked around them.
    I dunno, it seems like putting a nail into sheetrock to me.

regarding mandibulars its ok the most important thing is a occlusion. Its
diffcoult to banance denture. there is a clear that the mini make only
retention but its dangerous to transwer bite forces through them :))
