I want to buy an electric toothrbrush. I've never owned one before but
I've shortlisted it to two models:

Philips e9800 Sonicare Elite and Oral B Triumph Professional Care 9500
DLX

Which one do you think I should go for? I'd be particularly interested
in any practising dentists' views.

Many thanks!

The Cochrane group had a while ago a review of all research done on
power toothbrushes and the conclusion was that oscillation-type brushes
(the ones with the oscillating round head) were more effective than the
sonic ones. I myself own an Oral B model.

Regards,
George
