I just went to a dentist to have my amalgam filling replaced by
composite and he filled in between the teeth as well, so now i have 2,
and 3 teeth filled together, so I cannot floss between - is this
healthy? Is this normal practice? Can this be fixed?

Normally you should be able to encounter light to moderate resistance
when driving floss between teeth. If the floss won't go through you
will have to go back to your dentist, as it seems the contact points
between the teeth got bonded as well. It's not a major catastrophe and
with the right tools it's quite easy to fix (assuming the rest of the
filling is in order).

George
