HI!
I recently had crowns placed on my front teeth. My hygienist advised me
to brush very softly so that my gums do not recede. I normally use a
sonicare toothbrush. Do you think that it is safe to continue to use
the sonicare, or could it damage my gums?
Thanks for your advice

Nothing wrong with a Sonicare. There really shouldn't need to be any
special oral hygiene practices needed for a crown. What I'm reading
here is that there is a cosmetic concern should the gumline recede. But
this should be minimal if your oral hygiene technique is good. If you
have doubts, have your dentist or hygienist demonstrate for you.

Keep using the Sonicare, it's one of the best devices around IMO.
