Actually, I was driven in a Yugo once--on a date. I should have known
right there. What I remember is a silly little thing--instead of a
crank to lower the window there was a huge, chunky dial. Good wrist
exercise.

Why the car was actually named Yugo:
When they finished building the prototype, it was time for someone to
test drive it. The senior engineer said to his younger colleague "You
go". He in turn said to the junior engineer "No, you go". And so on...
