I am a 19 yr old college student and the back of my mouth on the left side is
hurting near where my wisdom tooth is supposed to be. It does not hurt on the
inside of near the roof my mouth just on the side by the cheek I was
wondering if this was an impacted wisdom tooth or what could be wrong. This
is the first time I've ever had this problem and I was wondering could it be
because I have a sinus infection or what the reason is for my mouth to hurt?

I had the exact same pain on both sides for years and years and the doctor
just said it was "swollen glands" and gave me antibiotics.
What I really had was 4 impact wisdom teeth. I would definately have Xrays
ASAP! Good Luck!

It's impossible to make such a diagnosis over the Internet. See a good
dentist to determine whether the wisdom teeth are involved.

Your dentist will probably need to take these xrays to find out what's
going on in that area:
Periapical
Panoramic
Not to mention an visual exam.
