For a slightly numb one side of tongue after wisdom
tooth surgery, what kind of treatment would you
recommend.

- any medication
- any supplements/vitamins & dosages
- any other treatment?

Unfortunately there is currently no scientifically proven medication
that could aid the recovery of a traumatised or "stunned" nerve. Time
is the best medicine in this case.
Your surgeon would have told you that the paresthesia could last for
months because nerves heal extremely slowly. However, given that your
symptoms are only mild, the chances are that the nerve is going to
recover completely.

I still have some pain also in the teeth.

I have a gel which contains

Choline Salicylate Soln equivalent to
       Choline Salicylate 8.7% w/w
Benzalkonium Chrolide Soln IP 0.01% w/w
Lignocaine Hydrochloride IP 2% w/w
In a flavored jelly base.

Is this any good/safe for use topically
on the teeth gums - will this cause problems
with the tongue?

I meant teeth & gums - in general in the
surgery area - it's been a week or so since
the surgery.
