My wife had her wisdom teeth surgically removed.
The dental surgeon put non-dissolvable sutures - the
reason he gave was that the dissolvable ones may
cause stomach problems - is this a real concern?

Also, typically how many days after are the sutures
removed? Is it painful?

Does anyone have any ideas about this?

do worry, the wisdom teeth surgery can cause pain and swell in your
mandible.3-5days later you will feel better,usually 8-10days
we(surgeon) will remove your sutures.I think the suture have no
relation with your stomach.
