second root canal treatment

I went in for my second root canal treatment yesterday and the denstist
took out my nevre is he supposed to clean out the plup or take out the
nevre when he did this section that was supposed to be filled started
to bleed. He said that I have to come back and he has to fill it again.
Does he he have do the same thing again

When you clean out the "plup," does it go "plop?"
