Good morning.
I am sorry if the issue has already been treated in the past, but i
read oldest messages, so i think there have been great technology
change since.
I just moved to US and did not bring with me my oral-b (it was hi-end
model)
Now i plan to buy an electic toothbrush here, but it seems that
Sonicare is more advertised.
Now i am torn between these 2 technology.
M hygenist suggested me Oral because of the 3d pulsation (that Sonicare
doesnt have) as a better way to remove plaque and because has a
pressure sensor (with manual toothbrush i tend to press too much).
Sonicare doesn't offer any of these features, though it seems a great
tool.
I read some review on the web, and some complains that Sonicare leaves
with a feeling of mouth not completely cleaned. At the same time, i
wonder if the bigger brush maybe better the the smaller Oral one.
Could you be so kind to suggest me wich one to prefer?
i thank you in advance

The oral-b removes more plaque than the sonicare, as shown by the
cochrane oral group study. The larger brush is not an advantage, since
you are supposed to focus on a couple of teeth at a time anyway.

Thanks a lot
Then I wonder why the American dental Association seems to promote and
back in this way the Sonic technology.
I have been very satisfied by my Oral B, but when I came here I simply
thought that it had to be really inferior compared to Sonicare.
Which are the advantages of Sonicares on Oral B?
thanks again

None, as far as I'm concerned. I have an Oral B myself.
