I am wondering how long you have to wait for the bone to heal after a
tooth is extracted before an implant can be placed.
Thanks

some do it right away...some do it after a month or so....others, longer. I
think it takes 6 months for bone to do the bulk of its remodeling following
an extraction...

HÄ
the ımplants shoull be placed ımmedıately(at the same tıme afte
extractıon
Should be placed 6 or 8weeks later, after extractıon(late ımmedıat
ımplantatıon
Should be placed 8 or 12 months later(late ımplantaton
I love to put them ımmedıately after extractıon ıf there ıs n
acute ınfectıon around roots ..It has adventages..
But also late ımmedıate ımplantatıon should gıve more estetı
adventages.
Wıth best wıshes..

Sometimes there are problems finding the right implant if the
extraction socket is too large. So if you can find a good size implant
while getting some stabilization great otherwise it is better to graft
wait 6 months and go in after.

TRUE,
That brings up the old "socks on a rooster" or
"Puss-in-Boots" references. These terms recall
and describe an ill-fitting crown that is way too
big for the stump onto which it is cemented.
Now for drilling the implant into a hole that is
already too big, well the floor is open for colorful
and humorous suggestions as to what we might call that.

- 185 periodontists walk into a bar.
- The bartender says: "I'm sorry we do not serve periodontists here"
- The periodontists reply: " we just came for the Bloody Marys".
