What milling machines are you aware of that are in use in Dental Labs?
In particular machines that are independent of an integrated Dental CAD
offering are important to me.
The integrated companies include: 3M Lava, Cerasystems, Cynovad, Nobel
Procera, Sirona CEREC and InLab, Wieland.
3D Printers can also be used. The only I have heard of so far is from
3D Systems, their Invision.

Cerec. is cool. I've done some of those. Very delicate work in raw
form. Lava is 250,000 for the machine, or something like that. I send
my die out for those. I am a lab tech. I prefer stacking Noritake
porcelain on lava, and the results I get from IMC in Issaquagh, Wa.,
have been superior to the others. Why independent?

I like the printer thang, I print up a beautful colored
crown and I instruct the hygienist to glue it to the front
of his tooth. The only problem is for heavy salivators
who get the paper wet and it falls off too soon.

QUESTION: How to glue it to the front of my tooth?
ANSWER: Toothpaste of course
