Hi Everyone!

My name is Jonathan Morris and I'm located in NJ.

I have a computer consulting firm that I'm gearing towards dental offices.
We are familair with Dentirx, Suzy Dental and a few other systems, along
with digital xray equipment, integration and software.

Can anyone give me some problems that dentists face as far as computer
support goes? I'm trying to better our business, and I think this would be a
great forum for hearing back from as many dentisits as possible!

Thanks so much

Yo Jon,

Biggest problem is "gettin' customers!" We got lotsa Dentrix users i
the dental community, most of whom have no idea how to use the program
As example, I am currently setting up a dialer program to sequentiall
remind our patients of upcoming appointments. It dials after hours.

So want to knjow about how to get customers? Its the same everywhere
Give them a little and then tell them you have lots more to offer.

Thanks Joel -

I've been mailing out free office technology consultations for awhile now
and they are semi sucesful in getting in the door.
The biggest issue I find so far is the lack of offices that backup their
data, so I started gearing towards that and trying to demonstrate how
dangerous it can be.

That dialer program sounds like a great idea, I suppose that since they are
already your customers, you aren't violating any telemarketing laws?

Jonathan
