Just needed some information. My oral surgeon wants to take 8 teeth out
at once. 3 bad lower back molars, 2 wisdom teeth, 2 decayed upper teeth
and 1 old root canal. I am thinking of doing just a little at a time
and see how it goes. One upper left tooth had a toothache so I am
thinking of getting that one out first. Next the 2 lower right teeth
that are decayed down to the gum line. Those teeth might still be alive
but infection is a problem. Would it a good idea to take those first 3
out at once? The 2 lower and one left upper and then see how it goes
and come back for the others out? I do not expect much post operative
pain from the upper tooth but since the bottom 2 teeth are worn to the
gum line will he have to dig them out and thus bad post op pain? After
the oral surgeon did x-rays he didnt say anything about difficult
extractions. The x-ray showed the 2 teeth pretty clearly, one slanting
to the left a little;the root that is. If I did have those 3 out at
once how long should I take off from work?
