I saw someone recommend Night White Gel on another board.
This comes in 22%, 16% and one lower strength.
What's the right one to choose?

Any better online/OTC gels?  I really don't need the whole professional
rigamarow you go through at the dentist's office and the $250 or more
charge.  I've been through it before, and saw no difference between the kit
I got and one I ordered from a TV ad several years later.

I would caution you strongly against using 16% or 22% gel in a tray
that is not custom made.  The potential for burning the soft tissues of
your mouth is too great.
Furthermore, these carbamyl peroxide preparations are chemically
unstable and have a short shelf life.  So you'll either risk burns or
risk a suboptimal result.
I think you're better off with the Crest White strips if you're doing
it yourself.  Much safer.

using a gel that has flouride and potassium nitrate in it would be the
best option.
