They all have the same active ingredient. In my office we make custom
trays for use of bleaching materials overnight. Trays you heat up
yourself don't fit well enough to keep the bleach where you want it.
The big problem with store-bought bleaches is they aren't very stable
chemically and should be bought fresh. I think things like the White
Strips should definitely be bought with a "use by" date. If it's old,
it probably won't do a thing.

Dr. Bornfeld, I had one of those moulds made by a dentist, and I used
it religiously... for about 2 weeks, as I recall, at which point I was
supposed to increase the amount or strength of gel, something like
that, I forget, it was a few years ago.
At that point it started really HURTING. In spite of the pain I used
it another night. Woke up the next day with my teeth hurting like
hell. The pain lasted about 2-3 days as I recall.
Is this common? Can some people just not withstand this process? I
really want to whiten my teeth, but I could not bear the pain of that.
Is there another way I can go? I still have the mould and the gel...
