Yesterday I had a filling, and I thought everything was ok.. However in the
night I woke up with a terrible tooth ache and had to take pain killers to
sleep. Since waking this morning I have felt no pain however my face is
slightly swollen. Is this normal after an injection and filling or should I
go back to my dentist? I go on holiday on monday amd do not want to have a
swollen face or experience further pain.. however I do not want to appear
dramatic to my dentist if this is normal!!
Thanks, carla

It will be dramatic if you have a problem on holiday. Call the dentist
now. It may be nothing--or not. Now is the time to find out.

Yeah that is what I am thinking, I just didn't want to waste the dentists
time!

That's his/her job. And you won't be wasting his/her time.
