Question for the group:

Has anyone heard about PANDA Software?  A friend of mine at Microsoft told
me that a bunch of guys left MS a few years ago to open a company to develop
dental software to create a true paperless office.  Apparently it will be
going on sale later this year - but I can't find any information about it in
any of the search engines. HELP!  I'm drowning in paper and the software
solutions that I have seen really suck!

Hi TechDDS,

I know what you mean.  I have been trying to go paperless for years.  We
have a hybrid system in our office.  I have been using Dentrix with
Tigerview to manage my Schick xrays and digital photos. It is clumsy and the
programs don't work well together.  Also the dental charting in Dentrix is
pathetic.  I have seen SoftDent, PracticeWorks and Dent-Exec.  They are no
better.

I need a program that can record all the clinical findings not just basic
restorative and perio findings.  I want an easy way to record detailed
medical and dental histories, occlusion and clinical progress notes.

Why hasn't someone come up with a software solution to deal with this
problem?
