I got a plastic see thru retainer after braces were removed.
Is this the same thing as an invisalign?
Even though I wear this, my teeth still shifted somewhat (I feel "collision"
in my bite that was not present earlier)
If my teeth are not perfect, can I request minor tweaks be added to this
retainer, or would i have to go back to full braces to correct the shift?

No, it's not invisalign.
If you feel your teeth have shifted, esp. if you feel you are striking
on just one or two teeth when you bite, you should call your
orthodontist to look.
If everything was done right, this sounds like a minor thing.

You are wearing an Essix retainer, this is not the normal retainer,
such as a Hawley retainer, I never give essix retainers for "long" term
use. they cover the occlusion and are only used for esthetic reasons
and timing issues, (at least in my practice) I suggest getting a
different retainer made, most regaular retains your orthodonticst can
adjust your occlusion with, especially the front teeth.
invisalgn will cost a ton for you to do, and it's not worth it for the
money if you already went through braces and need only minor changing.
I would bring up your questions during your next retainer check appoitment.

I did also have the other kind of retainer made (plastic with metal wires).
However, it doesn't work as well because the wire can slip slightly up or
down the teeth, and some of my teeth are not vertical, so the slippage makes
a big difference.
The essix has no room for slippage.
