Okay, I have taken 3 penicillin (4 a day) just started and no relief what so
ever.

I am also taking anti nausea pills with the percocet.....just got through
vomiting.   The percocet is not working.

Any advice appreciated.

thanks

It can take a couple of days for even the correct antibiotic to really
start taking the steam out of an infection.
If you're nauseated by the percocet, have your dentist prescribe
something else.  It's certainly not going to help you if you can't keep
it down.  Ibuprofen might be better.  Also, I hope you're not throwing
up your antibiotic.
Certainly if you've got undiminished pain after 48 hours an urgent call
to the dentist is appropriate.

Good luck,
Steve

thanks Steve, finally got into the dentist today and its in the bone, not
good news.....root canal already done in that tooth.

So will see an Endodontics the end of June to see if he can repair it or the
other more invasive procedure or pull it which I don't want of course.

I did finally sleep through last night but the minute I drink or eat the
pain starts back with a vengeance.  I am taking viocodin now.  The Doc said
it could be a couple more days before the pain stops.
