Root Canal - 1st bottom molar

I was quoted $2500 for a root canal for an infected 1st lower molar.  It
needs a post and crown.  This seems very high.  What do you think.  This
dentist uses laser for some things.

The dollar value lies totally within your perception of the procedure.
For some it's worth it, for others it isn't.  Now that being said, some
dentists will charge this, some more, some less.  Patients base care on
3 things, I have seen - Cost.  Fear.  Time.

If cost is an issue, seek another dentist who will be less expensive -
you may like who you meet, you may not.
