By "BTW, look for a NEW dental bulletin board here", were you referring
to the new DT, or are you going to open your own dental forum? Just
curious.

Shad, everyone has to re-register, I think. The old names and passwords
no longer work.
billkatz - 02 May 2006 23:09 GMT
Hmmmm... Mine worked just fine. That must have been what crashed th
whole thing :D

Nah, you're not *that* bad ;-)...  I got confused because the "Login"
button doesn't change to "Logout" - it works fine now!

Don't dentists drill anymore?  Or is blogging the new trend of dentists?
Flap - 07 May 2006 20:33 GMT
Hey Shad,

Flap drills 5 days a week.  Some weeks 3-4 days.

Flap blogs 24-7.

How is your blog coming along?

Yeah Bill you have that way with technology.....

Dental Town is back up but they are having some major configuration
problems and their traffic is well....... underwhelming.

I guess Farran hasn't hacked the sitemeter counter yet.  LOL......

Flap
billkatz - 03 May 2006 01:11 GMT
You mean they really *don't* have 16,852 visitors at any time???

Dental Town's makeover is definitley due to lack of traffic.  Farran is
attempting to attract dental specialities - after all he bought the
Roots forum (for endodontists).

The problem with a closed BBS is that you just cannot generate traffic
from the search engines.

His model worked a few years ago.  But, is dead now.  And from the
conversations of the disgrunted Townies some are ready to jump ship.

Of course, Flap is planning to oblige them.

Fine, thanks for asking :-). Best of luck with your new forum!

If you put a space just to the left of the http, then the link is
clickable. Otherwise, it isn't a hotlink, and no one goes there.
