For the past 2-3 days I've had this problem, when I eat something
sweet my lower left teeth start aching. The pains is quite sharp. I
then brush my teeth and it goes away after about 10 minutes.

Should I go see my dentist?

Tooth pain lasting that long after any type of stimulation should be
evaluated by a dentist.
