I can't seem to find a flat, straight-handled, soft-bristled,
small-head brush any more.

All the stores sell angled, fat-handled, funny-shaped ones, and the
straight-handled ones have large heads or hard bristles.

Oral-B says they don't make them any more.

Any idea where to get them?

http://www.dentist.net/tepe-nova-toothbrush.asp (funny-shaped though

http://www.dentist.net/supersmile-toothbrush.asp (again, slightly funn
handle

http://www.dentist.net/supersoft.asp (Sensodyne toothbrush - this on
is extra soft rather than soft, but it's probably the closest thing t
what you're looking for

I also liked the "classic" Oral-B 35 brushes best, but they stoppe
making them years ago

I suppose market research has a lot to answer for. You just can't see
to get soft-bristled toothbrushes with a small head and an ordinar
handle anymore. Maybe criss-cross action & co. "looks cooler" and i
bought more often as a result, who knows

You could also try kids' toothbrushes, but usually the handle is to
short for adults

It's a hell of a lot easier to get hold of electric toothbrushes with
small head and soft bristles (be aware though that the cheaper model
underperform compared to manual brushes)
