DECAY means "a hole." The hole can never go away on its own,
but if it is clean it may not decay further for decades. However,
most cavities are not self-cleansing but have recesses, nooks
and crannies, and most likely the decay will penetrate and
cause root canal therapy issues or tooth removal issues.
Why not let a friendly dentist help you out?>

Just curious if teeth could heal themselves. Now I'm curious if there
is some way to fill those nooks and crannies with what use to be there
or something that prevents the acid from decaying the enamal any
further. I realize Floride helps prevent decay but what could heal it?
I've read here that calcium remineralizes teeth, does that mean it
partially fills in those nooks and crannies?

Generally not, although there are some reports of REMINERALIZATION. W
can check on Google if you are interested.
