I have been using rsync to backup x-rays and data offsite to the doctor
pc. The problem is rsync is not easy to setup at all, and though I kno
how, its not easy to share the knowledge.
A friend named brad callis pm'd me about a version of rsync calle
deltacopy that uses the rsync algorithm, but doesnt require linu
knowledge to setup.

RSync can use an algorithm to send data offsite FAST. Lets say you hav
data offsite, and send it there daily. Instead of resending a whol
100MB file that has changed daily, it only sends the differences in th
file, instead of the whole thing, saving a LOT of time transferin
data.

You may want to pass this info on to your computer techs... and see i
they like it. Hey, the software is free, but the labor for them to se
rsync up may not. DeltaCopy may make the job alot easier.
For offices that have a lot of changing data, this may help the
achieve syncronizing large amounts of data offsite in a short amount o
time.
I have been using rsync for awhile and I like it
