Hi,   60 year old male with ceramic crowns on the back teeth which are now
some twenty years old.  I had a piece drop off the crown the other day.  i'm
a national health patient in the U.K.   I paid £7 and the dentist ground off
the sharp edge.  The 'ground off' part now feels a rough texture, like the
crown is a very dirty tooth.   Can the ceramic be polished with a finer
wheel so it feels as smooth as a normal tooth ? or does one just live with
the rougher texture?  thanks for any advice.
