Hi

I do not know if I am going to be clear with what I explain, so please
be patient with me.

Of late I have noticed that after I bite a few of my teeth slightly
shift and go back to position.
Like for 1/2 a mm or so.

Why is this happening?
I'm totally paranoid about it...Kindly help.

Thanks

Sounds like you have a CO-CR shift, anybody else want to take a guess.
Basically the way your muscles move your lower jaw takes them to a
different position then what your teeth will allow them to be upon
final closing.

Many people have this, sometimes it caused by only  a few teeth and
othertimes it's a bunch of them.  Consult your dentist the next time
you go, he may be able to do some equilibration, or perhaps, if you
need orthodontics work that can also fix it.  Or, it there may be
another issue all together.  Do you have pictures in both positions
clouse up?
Have a great day!

Key phrase was "a few of my teeth".

From the description, sounds like traumatic occlusion or perio problems or a
combination. My first question would be does the person have a full complement
of teeth?
