I sure can!
Most implant cases can be substituted with "regular dentistry!"
And this is from a guy who has a dental implant center with
specialists performing implant surgery!

need???? or want?????
why do you "need" extensive dental work??? what's wrong with the way
things are right now???? Are you having pain??? If so I can assure you
that 99.9% of the time it does not cost $16000 to fix the pain problem.
If it is a want or a desire to have better looking and or functioning
teeth then I have to remind you that you are 65 and you only live once.
$16000/20+ years is only $800/year or $66.67/month for the rest of your
lifetime.
The question I ask is: Is it worth $66.67or with interest say $80/month
to enjoy younger beautiful functioning teeth???
You might want to take a look at Dental Fee Plan financing for
dentistry it is the best dental insurance you can get.
It may be a lot of money for you , and it is the same as what you may
pay for a used SUV,
the problem I think is that you need to have this financially manageble
vs $16000 right now.

And many other people. Plastic surgery costs more are people on fixed
income still are able to get it done.
I don't know what to do. Can anyone make a suggestion?
Hope the new perspective I gave you helps you make the right decision.
Remember worst comes to worst having teeth is not a requirement to
leading a successful and productive life, it is done everyday.
Dentistry is not like needing a kidney. Elective procedures are usually
expensive but they can be financed and made affordable for everyone.

I really need a face lift but I want teeth instead.
Over the years I have had it all. Sugery to remove a bone on the roof
of my mouth, now I have the same problem in my lower jaw and my partial
don't fit right. Treatment many times over for peridontal disease.
Loss of bone, loss of my implants, needless to say loss of teeth.
Many crowns, also lost. Why? Poor dentistry from what I was told.
But, I can't blame one dentist, it's been one after the other trying to
fix what the last dentist did. Yes I want teeth. I put so much money
in my mouth already It's the most valuable thing I have. I have had
partials made, dentures, over dentures ect. Lost them all because of
bad dentists and bad genes. Now the dental school said its going to
cost me over $16,000 to fix.
Maybe I should just have the face lift and the hell with everthing
else.

All I can tell you is that with a face lift they stretch your face so
much that the teeth show they you wonder why you did not get the teeth
done first. Ofcourse most plastic surgeons have no idea that sometimes
correcting the teeth first makes their job much easier.
As far as a facelift it too will probably cost you $16000 and you may
have permanent numbness of your face.
Why don't you look at 3rd party financing you could probably have
everything you want done for $150/month.

I needed 8 implants. Went to Loma Linda School of Dentistry. They wanted
25,000. The work was supposed to be done by students.
Had 9 implants done at a local implant center for 20,000.
Don't count on the dental schools being cheaper.

We agree James. Besides, a clever treatment plan may
be obtained from a private dentist while the dental school
guys rarely know what they are doing!
