I had one previously, which I lost, made by another dentist in a
different state and it was fine.
With this new one I still wake up with jaw tension. It was adjusted
once. It's as if it pushes my jaw backwards where I then bite thru the
lower narrow area. The previous one did not have the narrow ridge at
the bottom. I don't know if that's the problem or not. How many
adjustments should I go for. During the first adjustment the dentist
just filled in the area I bit thru (biting thru did not happen with the
previous one).

If your NTI is not functioning, try putting your tongue between your teeth
when going to sleep until you can get it fixed or get another one.    That
will keep your teeth from meshing if you are not too hyper.
