I just got a new dental plan that only pays $20 to extract a tooth. Am I
correct in my opinion that that is just a token payment, and that the cost
of an extraction will be in the $100 to $250 range? TIA.

In the midwest the cost for extraction is ~$100.

I was just at my dentist yesterday and the cost here (Ontario) at mine

to be honest an extraction in the east is $125 - $200 My suggestion is that
your plan is poor at best and you should check how much premiums are being
paid for such poor coverage
