My adult son had two wisdom teeth removed today.  He says that on one,
a piece of cheek bone about the diameter of a dime and as thick as a
quarter came out with the tooth.  The dentist said that the bone will
"grow back".  Is this true?  Or if not, is this something to be
concerned about?  Thanks.

Dear Kassabob,

Yup the doc is shootin' striaght here. It will regenerate, or in
technical terms, the osteoblastic activity will remodel the alveolus.

Some newsreaders will render photos, say Microsoft Outlook.
The hard core users use Forte Free Agent which is only text in
this incarnation.
