What is the strongest medication you have ever prescribed a patient?
How often are your practices accosted by "drug seekers"?  What do you
look for in a patient, as in, what signs do you look for that may give
you some indication you are dealing with a patient who is "looking for
more than treatment"?

These may seem like bizzare, tasteless questions.  And they are,  but
I am asking because I am writing a paper for my Social Science class. My
assigned topic was the prescription drug abuse epidemic we are facing in
this country.

Thank you for any feedback you can provide.  I will be more than
happy to cite my references who give me info here and post my paper
here.  If fact I would love to do that as so I can get feedback and make
changes before I submit for my final grade.

  Thanks again.

Hi Henry,

Its a localized issue. Down here in Pennsport I am amazed at
how many druggies approach us. Once or twice I get fooled
by some well-mannered, thirty-something dude.

Broaden your topic to include the word, "substance abuse,"
meaning alcohol, food, gambling and other addictions. This
makes drug use more understandable although still incomprehensible.

Please post your paper and we will DEFINITELY learn something
from you and give you feedback too.

Joely
