I am 37 years old and scheduled to undergo removal of my right side
wisdom teeth. About five years ago the left two were removed under IV
sedation. If you are like every other dentist I have talked to, you
probably will ask why they didn't remove all four while they were at
it. I don't have an answer to that and after the week long of suffering
I experienced in the aftermath of this prior procedure I find myself
really wishing they had. In any case, here are the particulars. The top
tooth is fully erupted and the bottom is erupted about 1mm through the
gumline on an angle pointing toward the 2nd molar in front. They have
been so for nearly twenty years albeit with some minor episodes of
Pericornitis around the bottom tooth in the last few months which is
the first time this has ever happened.

The dentist thinks this should not be a difficult extraction and
doesn't expect the same type of recovery as I had the first time. I am
still concerned though since in the first procedure the teeth were
positioned almost the same way as the remaining teeth are now. Also I
have had reactions to many prescription painkillers ranging from rashes
to getting sick for days after taking them. Any suggestions or advice
would be gratefully accepted.

no, they really should not remove all at once anyway, easier on the body to do 2 at a time.  it's kinda like having the mimps, u want one week w/ it on one side and the next week, the other side.  but seriously, i suggest u see a biologic dentist so that they take out the periodontal ligament, otherwise u'll just b coming to see us later.  and, get those cavitations cleaned, if u haven't already.  for
