Apologies if this is not suitable material for this NG, but I wasn't sure
who to ask.
Basically, yesterday I think one of my fillings, in a tooth near the back of
my upper jaw, fell out. Or, at least, I think it did - I was eating
sausages at the time, so gristle and bone from there may explain the little
lump of solid material I felt going down.
However, I now get slight discomfort in that part of my mouth when drinking
cold fluid, although nothing too severe.
Here is the thing. It is going to be hard for me to get to the dentist
soon, is this something I can afford to leave, say up to a fortnight, or
does it need attending to and refilling straight away?
I am guessing that discomfort will increase if it is left untreated for two
weeks, but right now it's not giving me much bother. Can I get away with
the wait, or should I get it sorted now, even though it won't be easy to do
so?
Thanks, and apologies once more if not appropriate material for this NG.

A fortnight is okay, two years is not.
