The endo today pointed out that a very small piece of porcelain is
missing from the bottom of my new crown.
He said it didn't really matter (wasn't his crown, by the way) and
there was no real reason to point it out to me except I guess that he
didn't want me to think he chipped it.

Should I demand a new crown or is it really no problem?

Also I noticed that since the crown has been put in place I keep
feeling food getting stuck between it (#30) and the one behind it. Is
this unavoidable, or is it made wrong?

I guess I did not get enough pasta for my brain to work properly.  I thought
I could explain things to Jim and he would understand.

[smacks the side of his head with the flat of his hand} Duh!
