What is wrong with this person? All he ever does here is stalk Sue and perpetuate wars with Jan Drew. So what is his purpose here? Does he just sit home on his computer all day... hooked up to an SMD IV line? Does he have a job? I understand he and Webby wrote some book on an iatroepidemic ... ( I am guessing this relates to TMJ) ...but I have never once seen Tim put any technical information on these boards. All he does is attempt to pick fights. Geesh. Sue, just ignore the paranoia and fighting. Take what you can get from this forum and, as much as possible, let the rest go. Yes, the paranoia and fighting bother "everyone." Some of us just don't have the time or energy to respond regularly. Aside from that, responding is a waste of time. Tim and Sabra have had experiences which, if they really happened, caused predictable trauma and distrust in each of them. I don't and don't have to understand why the two siblings haven't been able to let go of their conviction that everyone who doesn't agree with them is part of some vast conspiracy. Fact is, that's where they're coming from and that's what you're getting. It has nothing to do with you and everything to do with them. Trying to argue sense into them accomplishes nothing for anybody. Because I needed to get back to house guests, I posted quickly and without thinking through what I would write. I should have waited to post, as I did (for several weeks) to let Sue know that others are reading who don't find Webby and Chang appropriate with their dealings on Usenet. There is no more excuse for posting publicly in "code" than there is to speak a foreign language when other people around you do not speak that language. If you want to share something useful, you have to tell your story in a straightforward manner with language that everyone can understand, instead of expecting people to research your posting history (which doesn't seem doable on Google previous to 1997) or ask the right questions, to which they might still get coded answers. But this topic has been broached before in this forum. The private language of the clique continues to show up, as do the coded language and attacks against people who are part of no conspiracy at all. There is also no excuse for fighting on the board; calling people liars, other names, or attacking them in other ways; and repeatedly posting long abstracts and sets of links (which -- no -- I don't believe are efforts to collect my private information; I believe you are sincere in your efforts to communicate your fears about amalgam) without engaging (or being able to engage?) in any intelligible discussion of the ideas presented in those abstracts. Persistently refusing to enter into real discussion of ideas loses readers on any intelligent forum. Some guy named Iron Justice constantly posts abstracts and links on several newsgroup I read. In the best of those groups, the only response to him is a post with instructions for how to killfile. No one even mentions his name. However sincerely he believes that too much iron causes every human ill, readers perceive him as a lunatic. As in your case and Webby/Chang's, his behavior on newsgroups has undermined any credibility his cause might have had. I do not expect this statement to change anyone's behavior except my own, which is what I can control. And since I insulted publicly, I wanted to apologize publicly. I do feel sorry that their lives have been affected so, but their behavior toward me is something I cannot accept regardless of their current or past sufferrings.
