Sorry to post something unrelated to character assassination...but...anybody
have any recommendations for a good, stand alone software package for
patient scheduling?

I was speaking with a colleague who is one of them there ortho-dentists and
they have a set up that ties in all their photos, radiographs, business, etc
....but are really unhappy with its appointment making functions and were
looking to go with a separate system for that.function.

It is a one doctor office if that matters and they would have two or three
people in the office with access to the system who would be wanting to
schedule patients from different locations in the office.

Any ideas??

We use a $30. stand alone scheduling software called Anytime deluxe.
You can buy an unlock code for over 2 computers--Mark thought the
licence for a larger network was about $40.

Thanks Steve,

That looks like a good one for me! My friend has gone from paper to
computer, back to paper...and at present use a book with three or four
columns...not sure this one could handle all those 15 minute ortho
appointments. I have to play with it and see if there is a way to customize
view. I will download a trial version tonight.

Thanks again, Tony

You set up one profile for each user (doctor or hygienist), so it's not
a problem.  Only problem is that I don't think you can bring multiple
profiles up at the same time--you have to switch back and forth.
