Tim Dixon - 12 Dec 2005 13:12 GMT Here is what she does with the information she gathers here. Hey W_B are you included in that list? Ready to be subpoenaed as a witness? How about you Amatus? Ready to be questioned by some lawyer?
The way I read this everyone here agrees, because those that did and didn't are not listed by name, or anything else to define who is who.

I gave Claire no names. You neglected to add the part where I direct Claire to this forum for more information. Sci med is a forum where patient questions are answered all the time. If Claire had posted this question here herself, she would have gotten the same responses, with names attached. Your paranoia makes no sense.
BTW, you are cross-posting right now and breaking your own rules. And rather than cutting and pasting the entire post, you pick only the part you wish.
Here is the full post:

Listen are you so thick that you don't understand the difference between a privately owned and operated forum and Usenet?
Funny thing I noticed was you opted to not include any of the actual responders text, only your paraphrase of what *YOU* think someone said.
Again YOU lose!

You have to get up pretty early in the morning around here if you want to "play" in this newsgroup. You snooze, you lose. It's that simple. You may think this group of people is just a bunch of nuts, fruitcakes and thugs (has a nice ring, doesn't it) ... but that's just our collective disguise. You don't want to see what we really are. Sort of like you, "Sue". You don't want us to see what you really are.
The door is right behind you and up three.

The link I have pasted directly above this line is one that I copied from that place and pasted it right here in usenet. I'm going to run a test by posting this link within this reply and then see how it looks once it's out. (I'm leaving the entire post intact.)

The original link that was pasted was too long on the original forum and some of it was hidden behind the scenes. So cutting and pasting it meant the behind the scenes bit was lost and so it didn't work. The link you were originally talking about was this one:
http://groups.google.com/group/sci....28817?scoring=d&
On the web group where it was originally written if you hover over it you will see that it is actually this:

Your paranoia makes no sense. And do you think for one minute that any of us here believe that what you gave her "Dentists on Sci med dentistry forum think this is the definitely the dentist's responsibilty." was valuable, useable information. Why didn't you include their actual comments? WHY SUE WHY?
You see, we see right through you, as if you were water.
Dartos - 12 Dec 2005 15:14 GMT So she not only brings other people's questions here, but then takes our comments back and spreads them out to other places?
Doesn't seem quite right.
Why quote fruitcakes, nuts, and thugs anyway?

"Why quote fruitcakes, nuts, and thugs anyway?" Thats the million dollar question.

Ready to be subpoenaed as a witness? How about [quoted text clipped - 18 lines] > Good luck, > Sue I will attempt to show why this message from "Sue" is a useless and therefore probably harmless message to "Claire". At the same time, readers can decide how they feel about it. Is it harmless or is it dangerous because it masquerades as something "helpful".
The word "Dentists" is merely a plural word; not necessarily all encompassing as in "all the dentists" (still too vague to be useful and too broad to be harmless). It could be the simple plural, as in two which is one more than one. Without some specific modifier, the message carries little value if it is meant to reflect a majority opinion of a large group of dentists.
Next, take "Sci med dentistry forum" for what it says. This is not that place; in fact, I have no idea what or where "Sci med dentistry forum" is. It does tell me that the person writing it has no idea about the matter of where she went to gather her data.
And last but not least, there is the word "dentist's". Is this news to anyone? If a dentist extracts a tooth (example only), who would say that the procedure was someone else's responsibility? This is not a legal opinion. To address ongoing liability for poor quality work, substandard work, or outright negligent work -- that would have required additional comments. There were no additional comments.
Anyway, in summary, you see that our "helpful poster" has actually delivered a non-message message to "Claire". It is, IMO, neutral in value and inflammatory at the same time.
Readers' ideas may be substantially different.

The value *seems* to be that "Sue" knows not what "Sue" is doing. But I don't trust "Sue"; in fact, I don't trust "Sue" at all. It's difficult to be as "in the dark" as "Sue" wants people to think "she" is.
