If you were to ask me the one best thing that our current President has
accomplished, I wouldn't even have to furrow my brows.  He made my phone stop
ringing.  I just don't understand why they didn't do that decades ago.  I guess
all of those dickheads in the call centers are calling Canada now.

I don't know.  My fax still rings near the head of my bed all hours of
the night with stock tips.  If I attempt to unsubscribe, they just
change phone numbers they're calling from.
Yes, I'm on the do not call list.

Here's a novel idea:
Try turning off the fax machine at night.

The fax is hooked up to the phone.  If I shut off the fax the phone
will still ring unless I want to shut off the ringer.

That is a totally diffrent law, and one that has been around for a
long time.  If you want to make a hobby out of it, you can recover
$500.00 per fax.  See below:

Vaughn

Fax Spam is illegal in the United States.
It is punishable by a $500 per instance fine!

Interesting.  Don't know if law enforcement has the will to search for
these guys, but threatening them is certainly worth a try.

Just like shooting fish in a barrel.  There are so many reasons...  Anyhow,
don't blame me.

Nope, you should blame it on the Liberal party in Kaanaadaa !

Which BTW I hear got a "no confidence" vote and will be out
of power shortly.

My guess is that on Jan 23, they will be back in power with more seats. The
others keep making fools of themselves. The green party is looking tempting to
me.

Emviromentalist wackos ? Hmmm...

BTW thanks for the hint about adding soap to the pumice,
that was new to me and works quite well.

Thanks,

Do you fluff and burn your rag wheels, that helps a lot too?
Did I mention I use the antibacterial soaps? My pumice never stinks. I only use
virgin flour pumice, mix in small amounts in a small container and keep covered
when not in use. What ever hits the splash pan ends up in the garbage. Studies
say it is not the grit that is important but the "sharp" edges on the particles.
Reused pumice loses the edge rounding with use and is less effective.

I like to cut some of the threads on the sides of the rag wheel to make the
edges "looser".  My DA puts a little pumice in a throw-away cup next to the
lathe, so that I always have fresh to use.  It is a pain to have to go wash
out the splash pan after every use, but cross-contamination needs to be
avoided.

Not sure what you mean, can you elaborate ?

>Did I mention I use the antibacterial soaps?

That's the only kind in the office, so that's what I used too.

Good idea, have been using just a mixing bowl.
Gonna start using a covered jar.
I use half coarse, and half medium.

Same here.

I dated a telemarketer once... it wasn't too bad unless she was with her
telemarketer friends, and then I'd feel really left out. So depresssing...
