*I liked their razor so much, I bought the company...*

As I have told  and told all-a youse in the past;

.......and _still_ you know nutting;

<The Pipe slaps the SMD upside the face a few times>;

Their double-syringe Compomer (Geristore) can be quite useful. I would
like to see GC come out with the same type of dispenser for Fugi 9.

I have told  and told 'em, and _still_ they know nutting....

<The Pipe slaps a SUMO wrestler upside the face a few times>

..... Think about that for a second or two....

<The Pipe is crushed and ceases to exist....>

Gee Steve, here I thought you were a dentist, not one of those a-holes.

How about answering this simple question then...

Does anyone here use Core Paste?

It sounds like one of the better core build-up materials, as per
studies comparing its bond strength to other core build-up materials.

Thanks,
Sue

    I used to.  It is nice sometimes to have a core buildup material that
contrasts in color with tooth structure.  But it's just composite resin,
and I resented paying so much more just for a little color, so I don't
anymore.

Maybe in your house.

I use something else to clean my core.

It is not supplied by DenMat

It is not green or blue

It does not cost me a thing

Hey Sue,

I am noit sure its appropriate for use as a restorative material.
After all, restoratives have quartz particles and dent-mat (?) Who
knows?

I guess it worked on me.  I've been using Geristore for those sub-G
V's where bonding composite isn't likely to be successful.  So far,
so good.

I know they aren't going to last forever, but sometimes it's OK to
'rent' a tooth for a few years.

If you use Fugi 9, they give you a surface resin to cover the Compomer
with if it is to be the final restoration.

I've been doing the same thing with Geristore by re-etching and putting
Seal 'N Shine on the stuff. Seal 'N Shine is a PulpDent   unfilled resin
product, designed for sealing composites when one wants them to last
until 3005. It means one more step, but it does protect the stuff
some... Mabye it'll keep the rent down to managable levels....

Deflection Studies Using an Electronic Probe to Evaluate Restorativ

Several studies have shown that large-cavity preparations in posterio
teeth weaken tooth structure, and if restored, under occlusal loadin
cuspal fracture can occur. This study measured the amount of deflectio
that occur when a vertical load is applied to the cuspal incline of
tooth. The Tenure®-Core Paste combination, compared with amalgam
significantly increased resistance to deflection. The following tabl
